Section 4. Library Services in Support of Science, Education, and Research
(information support for research, scientometrics, academic integrity, and support for the educational process in the era of artificial intelligence and digital transformation)
The section is dedicated to the development of modern library services aimed at supporting scientific activity, the educational process, and the research infrastructure of the university. In the context of digital transformation and the active implementation of artificial intelligence, libraries are becoming important partners for researchers, teachers, and students by providing access to knowledge, analytical support, and the development of academic culture.
Special attention is given to:
- information support for scientific research at all stages of the research lifecycle;
- bibliometric and scientometric analysis, support for publication activity, and increasing the visibility of research results;
- academic integrity, anti-plagiarism practices, ethics of AI use, and responsible creation of scholarly content;
- support for Research Data Management and open data;
- library support for the educational process, digital learning, information literacy, and the use of OER;
- implementation of AI tools for service personalization, information retrieval, analytics, and user support.
The section aims to discuss the library as an intellectual service center of the university, where traditional information support is transformed into a comprehensive system for supporting science, education, and innovation.
